General Tools Mfg Co In 87XXX Review: General Tools 87 Pocket Automatic Center Punch. Nice exterior build. This device depends on a slightly bent interior rod eventually finding a hole to "snap" into. I got a lemon..... the rod is straight...every time I try to use the punch, the interior rod slips effortlessly into the hole...hence NO SNAP!
